I have watched a few MSU basketball games this season and only saw two defeats before today - the early aberration that was against Minnesota on New Year's Eve and the first thrilling loss to Indiana. It's a good sign that sleeping in today consisted of my waking up around 9:30 without an alarm. It was drizzly and grey then and cycling looked dubious. Today is my last free day or evening this week since I'm going to a show tomorrow night and have to work nights through Sunday. Today was the only possible laundry day, so that's what I did first. Watching today's MSU game against Saint Louis reminded me of the last 2 or 3 years worth of tournament games, which stand in stark contrast to this year's Big Ten Tournament and the first game of the NCAA Tournament earlier this week. I haven't left the house today, despite grand intentions before the weekend hit. It was supposed to be a riding day because in a week from yesterday, the cyclists among us will by riding the 40th annual Chilly Hilly ride, on Bainbridge Island.
